Hello, I am Jeffrey's very virtual avatar here to help you with questions about joyomancy.
I am actually quite new on the job and still "in training" so I will do my best, but please don't expect perfect answers yet... Thank you for your understanding! |
Questions about reiki:
Can reiki heal my illness or depression? The short answer is yes, possibly. The long answer is that actually reiki does not heal you. You heal you. Reiki isn't exactly a healing tool or treatment. It's an energy that gets your own internal healing mechanisms unstuck, activates them, and supplies them with the power they need to move you forward in your healing process. And so the practical answer is that although anything is possible, the healing that reiki helps you through will probably be slow and gentle and ultimately follow the experiences that you have entered this world to live through-- Some of us have actually come into this reality specifically to experience some kind of physical or mental difficulty along the way, and reiki itself will not override that purpose. But even in such cases reiki is likely to help us come to terms with the experience and accept it so that we can move through it a little more smoothly and with a sense of purpose. There are many paths to a fulfilling life-- and full realization of this can be truly life changing. I say this not to discourage you, but to give you hope. Because I do believe in miracles, and I think you should too. And reiki is here to help you find more liveliness and fulfillment in whatever outcomes life lives through you-- Can I just get reiki instead of going to the doctor? This really depends on the condition. Reiki is a 'complimentary' healing modality. This means that reiki works wonderfully alongside practical interventions such as healthy living habits, a balanced diet, first aid treatment, and traditional medical care. Whether you are the type to DIY yourself through a cold or flu, or head straight to the doctor at the first sign of symptoms, reiki can help you heal more quickly, smoothly, and thoroughly through whatever course you would choose to take. Can I stop my medications? If you are currently on medications or other treatment programs, please do not abruptly stop them. Medications can have powerful withdrawal effects that must be respected. If your goal is to get off your treatment program, please consult with your doctor and make an appropriate exit plan together. And then, yes, reiki can be a valuable part of that transition-- |

Questions about channeling:
Is channeling dangerous? Because channeling is simply a means of connecting and communicating, there can be some risk involved. Just as in regular daily life, it all depends on who or what we connect to. This is why I focus my channeling on your own subconscious and higher self, moving up to even higher beings from there if needed. And just as in our daily lives, we tend to easily attract and connect with beings that share our thoughts, ideas, and habits. For this reason, I always recommend that channelers attune and maintain their energy with the universal light of reiki. |

Questions about counselling:
Are you a licensed psychotherapist? I am not a psychotherapist, psychologist, or psychiatrist. I'm not even a parapsychologist. I am an insightful channeler who uses conscious channeling to get to the root of your issues and find your best steps forward. In counselling sessions I use life coaching and talk therapy style questioning to guide you into self-discovery of what is being channeled. Do you offer counselling sessions for children? Children are already very much in tune with their subconscious. Given the opportunity, they will follow their life-path instinctively. If they are having trouble, it is probably because something or someone in their environment is restricting their choices, blocking their way, or forcing them on another course entirely. Children are actually dominated by their subconscious and so easily absorb the stress and maladaptive behaviors of others around them. Therefore, rather than offer counselling to children having difficulties, I generally recommend starting with counselling support for their caregivers. |

Questions about joyomancy:
What is your reiki lineage? I studied and certified as a master teacher in Gendai Reiki Ho here in Japan. Gendai Reiki Ho means 'Modern Reiki Method' in Japanese and was developed by Hiroshi Doi. Doi-sensei studied both Western-style Reiki and Japanese Traditional Usui Reiki. Realizing the unique benefits to be found in both, he founded a new approach grounded in the spiritual depth of Usui's original practices and blended with the practical accessibility of Western-style Reiki. The Gendai Reiki Ho organization has an administrative regulation against passing on their name when giving distance reiki training and attunements. However, since distance attunements have actually long been practiced in the background, and in keeping with the fundamental idea that the universal energy of reiki is not bound by space and time, I have further developed a reiki practice called Itsuzen Reiki. Itsuzen Reiki (壹全霊気) simply means 'universal reiki' or literally 'all one reiki'. The energy itself is the same as Usui and Gendai (because reiki energy is universal), but the Itsuzen practice takes the best techniques of both and optimizes them for use in the amazing global interconnectedness of our current physical and social reality. And so, all of my online reiki training & attunements are certified as Itsuzen Reiki in name. This gives you the same reiki energy with more freedom of practice. I hope this focus on universality and freedom serves you well in your journey with reiki-- |
