★ じぇふりい (Jeffrey) は、アメリカ合衆国カリフォルニア州の出身で、高校を早期卒業し、中南米のホンジュラス国にて９か月間ボランティア活動をしていました。そこでは病院を建てたり出産に立ち会ったり、食中毒で生死をさ迷ったり、とてもワイルドで貴重な経験をしました。帰国後は仕事をしながらコミュニティカレッジに通い、カリフォルニア大学バークレー校へ進学。ダブルメイジャーで英文学と哲学の２つの学位を取得しました。来日前はカリフォルニア州で特別支援教育に従事し、その経験がいまじん英語の特別な教育メソッドの土台になっています。その後2004年に来日し、ALTとして岐阜県で７年間、宮崎市で４年間、小・中・高の英語教育に携わっていました。そして、それまでのアメリカ及び日本での教育現場での経験と知識を活かし、2015年からいまじん英語を開講しました。
